Result of Chin Fillers
The result of chin fillers is optimal after two weeks. You will see that the chin is accentuated, and any imperfections have disappeared. In the first days after the treatment, you will feel the filler working. If you are not satisfied with the result, you can come back to your treating physician for a follow-up appointment 2 to 4 weeks after the treatment. The effect of your treatment with Radiesse will last 9 months to a year. With the use of a hyaluronic acid filler, this is on average between 6 and 9 months.
After this, you will return for a repeat treatment. You can also make the chin stand out more when the jawline is narrower. With face slimming, the chewing muscles are injected with a muscle relaxant, making the jaws appear narrower. A combination of chin fillers and face slimming is also possible.
Chin Fillers Aftercare
After the treatment, you can move the injected areas normally. However, be careful not to massage or rub the injected area for the first 48 hours after the treatment unless the doctor specifically recommends it. After the treatment, you may experience bruising or swelling, and it is recommended to cool the area well. The swelling will strongly decrease after a few days.
Bruises can be camouflaged with makeup a few hours after the treatment, once the injection holes are closed. In addition, you may not exercise for 24 hours after the treatment and avoid visiting the sauna or sunbed for 2 weeks after the treatment.
