How does a Juvéderm treatment work?
Depending on the treatment area, a numbing cream may first be applied. This is often done with Juvéderm lip filler. Once this has taken effect, the practitioner will assess your face and determine where the filler will be injected. Multiple injections with a small amount of filler are used to fill the desired area, often with a cannula.
The cannula ensures that the risk of bruising after the treatment is minimal. A filler treatment with Juvéderm takes about half an hour. Before your treatment, you and your practitioner will choose between the different fillers offered by Faceland, such as Juvéderm or Belotero.

You may not exercise for 24 hours after the treatment and avoid visiting the sauna or sunbed for 2 weeks after the treatment. Exposure to UV radiation can make the treated skin extra sensitive and affect the result of the treatment.
Juvéderm Filler Price
The price of your Juvéderm treatment always depends on the amount of filler and the area to be treated.
You will discuss this with your practitioner before your treatment.
Result of Juvéderm Fillers
You will see results immediately after the treatment, but after two weeks, it is really optimal. The treated area appears fuller, more pronounced, or the wrinkles in question have faded. Whatever your ideal outcome is, it is always beautiful and natural.
You can then enjoy this for 6 to 9 months, depending on the treated area. If you are not satisfied with the hyaluronic acid filler or if you are ready for a different look, the result can be reversed with a hyaluronidase treatment if desired.
Aftercare for Juvéderm Fillers
For up to 48 hours after the treatment, you may not massage or rub the treated area, unless indicated otherwise. You can continue to move your face. You may experience bruising or swelling after the treatment, in which case we recommend icing the area. The swelling will disappear after a few days.
Bruises can be camouflaged with makeup a few hours after the treatment, once the injection sites are closed. Furthermore, you may not exercise for 24 hours after the treatment and avoid visiting the sauna or sunbed for two weeks after the treatment. Exposure to UV radiation can make the treated skin extra sensitive and affect the result of the filler treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions about Juvéderm Fillers
Juvéderm is a filler that remains visible for a relatively long time. Depending on the treated area, you can enjoy the results for 6 to 9 months.
Belotero and Juvéderm are both hyaluronic acid-based fillers, but they are not the same. Belotero has a liquid consistency that is ideal for filling in fine lines. Juvéderm, on the other hand, is more gel-like. This works well if you want more volume in, for example, the cheekbones. Both are suitable for both wrinkles and additional volume. Your practitioner will advise you during the consultation on which filler suits your wishes.
Juvéderm fillers are A-brand fillers based on hyaluronic acid. You can discuss with the practitioner if this filler is suitable for you.
Yes, Juvéderm filler is an A-brand filler made from hyaluronic acid that fills in wrinkles and combats skin aging.
Juvéderm is a hyaluronic acid-based filler, and Radiesse is based on calcium. Radiesse filler is firmer compared to a hyaluronic acid filler. With Radiesse, the contours of the face can be accentuated, such as the cheekbones, jawline, or chin.
