How does a nose bridge filler treatment work?

First, a brief consultation takes place with your practitioner. During the consultation, your wishes and expectations are well documented. To assess the situation properly, the practitioner will ask if you have ever had a nose operation. If you have, you cannot undergo a nose bridge filler treatment. Then, a numbing cream will be applied to the area to be treated.

Once this has taken effect, the injection can begin. The filler is injected into various areas of the nose bridge. It fills the area, making the nose appear straighter. Bumps and lumps fade away, and imperfections become invisible. Do you also want to lift the tip of the nose? Then you can combine this treatment with a nose lift using muscle relaxants.

Result of Nose Bridge Filler Treatment

The result of the nose bridge correction is visible a few days after the treatment. However, keep in mind that the area may still be red and swollen. The optimal result is visible after two weeks and will last an average of 6 to 9 months. The bump on your nose is gone, and the imperfections are no longer visible.

You will see that the nose bridge is smoother, and the dents and curves have disappeared. If you are not satisfied, you can come back for a check-up 2 to 4 weeks after your treatment. Nose Bridge Filler Aftercare

Within the first 48 hours after the treatment, you should not massage or rub the injected area, unless the practitioner recommends it. Possible risks include swelling and bruising after the treatment, in which case it is recommended to cool the area well.

Keep in mind that the swelling will first increase before it decreases. Bruises may be camouflaged with makeup a few hours after the treatment (once the injection holes are closed). Additionally, you should not exercise for 24 hours after the treatment and refrain from visiting the sauna or sunbed for 2 weeks. UV exposure can be extra sensitive for the skin and affect the treatment’s results.
