How does a Profhilo treatment work?
During the treatment, 2 ml of hyaluronic acid is injected at 10 different points on the face. The injected gel spreads evenly under the skin, reaching all areas of the face. The treatment is not only beneficial for the face but also combats aging of the neck and décolleté. The total duration of the treatment is 15-30 minutes.

The result of the Profhilo treatment
For the best results, multiple treatments are required. A natural result is visible around 6-8 weeks after your first treatment. You will have a healthy glow on your face, and your skin will feel firmer. Fine lines and wrinkles are softened, making you look younger. The second treatment takes place four weeks after your first appointment with your practitioner. This further increases the production of collagen and elastin. There are no disadvantages to Profhilo, except that you achieve the best results when you come in every 6 months, which amounts to just twice a year. Aftercare for Profhilo Treatment
Are you familiar with the aftercare of a filler treatment? It’s almost the same as after the Profhilo treatment. Bluish or reddish spots may appear on the skin, possibly with mild swelling due to the injections. This will fade within a few hours. The skin could use extra care.
We recommend not to exercise or engage in other strenuous activities within the first 48 hours after the Profhilo treatment. Furthermore, you should not massage or rub the treated area within those 48 hours, so leave the skin alone. Sunbathing or going to the sauna should also wait, which is allowed after two weeks because UV radiation will affect the result.
