How does a wrinkle treatment work? 

At the beginning of a wrinkle treatment, the practitioner examines your face or neck to determine the placement of the muscle relaxants. If necessary, the treatment area is marked. Then, small amounts of the muscle relaxant are injected into the muscle.

The treated muscle becomes less active, reducing wrinkles. A wrinkle treatment takes about fifteen minutes. If you also have deeper grooves that cannot be addressed with muscle relaxants, we can fill these wrinkles with filler.

Schedule a non-binding consultation to discuss your wishes and expectations with the practitioner. Based on this, the practitioner will provide you with personalized advice. During the consultation, the practitioner will examine your face and take some photos so you can compare the results after the treatment. This way, it becomes visible whether your wishes have been met.

During the treatment, the muscle causing the wrinkles is injected with a muscle relaxant. This relaxes the muscle, preventing it from causing wrinkles. The skin no longer folds together, and fine lines become a thing of the past. The treatment takes about fifteen minutes.

You may not exercise for up to 24 hours after the treatment and avoid the sauna or sunbed for 2 weeks afterward. Exposure to UV radiation can make the treated skin extra sensitive and affect the treatment’s results.

Result of a Wrinkle Treatment 

The result of a wrinkle treatment is not immediately visible but is truly optimal after two months. Once visible, you’ll be amazed! Wrinkles like frown lines will be largely faded. You’ll instantly look years younger.

However, note that we often cannot completely remove wrinkles but can significantly fade them. If you’re (still) not satisfied after two weeks, contact us and schedule a follow-up appointment. The ultimate result lasts three to six months. After this, you can return for a repeat treatment.

Aftercare for a Wrinkle Treatment 

After treatment, you can move the injected zones normally. Just ensure not to massage these areas for the first 48 hours. You may experience bruising or swelling after treatment. The bruises can be concealed with makeup a few hours after treatment once the injection sites are closed.

Additionally, you should not exercise within 48 hours after treatment and avoid the sauna or sunbed for 2 weeks afterward. Exposure to UV radiation can make the skin extra sensitive and affect the results.
